BOOKING AND DEPOSIT POLICY

We ask for a deposit of the cost of the first night's stay at the time of booking, to protect our business from non arrivals and late cancellations. We will refund this deposit in full, minus a small charge to cover our bank charges, providing the booking is cancelled more than 7 days prior to the expected date of arrival. If a booking is cancelled later than 48 hours before the expected arrival date or guests do not arrive, we will charge the full value of the stay, unless we can resell the room(s). Please note, as the clearing banks will no longer guarantee cheque payments, we cannot accept cheques.

We accept arrivals after 21.00 by prior arrangement only.

LIABILITY

We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would, however, attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for the booking. Except in exceptional circumstances, our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

DOGS

We welcome well behaved house trained dogs, subject to prior approval and minimal rules to protect our property and the wellbeing of all our guests. Dogs should not be left in the room on their own, must not go on any furniture, are not allowed in the dining room, and are welcome to use the garden early and late, provided any waste is bagged.

DAMAGES

We reserve the right to charge for any damage caused in any way by our guests. To this end, guests should not have takeways in their rooms, and must under no circumstances cook in the room.

We answer all e-mails, but get several each week returned with non current addresses, please make sure your return name is valid, thanks.
